As a photographer who recently moved to Alice Springs, I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding between a Caucasian bride and an African groom at the historic Telegraph Station in Alice Springs. The Station is a popular location for weddings and photoshoots due to its stunning natural surroundings and rich history.

Despite being new to the area, I was struck by the contrast between the couple’s attire and the rugged beauty of the Australian outback. The bride looked stunning in her white wedding dress, while the groom looked dashing in his white shirt and pants. Against the backdrop of the red earth and blue skies, they made a beautiful couple.

 

When I suggested they place their hands on the baby bump in the shape of a heart, I didn’t expect to capture such a perfect moment. But the contrast in skin tones between the bride’s light complexion and the groom’s rich, dark complexion, combined with the rugged natural beauty of the surroundings, made for a stunning photograph.
